Mixed feelings about this one. I like the idea much more than the execution. When Faith says “all men are beasts”, “all men have beast in them”, she obviously not talking about men per se but about toxic masculinity. As Giles says there different kinds of beasts, the ones that are irremediably lost, the one that try to fight against it and the one that can be saved, redeemed by love. One is Peggy’s boyfriend, one is Oz and the last one is Angel. I don’t particularly like the less subtle aspect of this episode. The domestic abuse angle in a school setting is not really fitting. Those are 17-18 year old kids. We’re gonna need Charlotte’s opinion for every episode.

2021-04-03 04:42:26 +0000 UTCThis is such a brilliant episode. I love the fact that this show can mix a supernatural reasoning with a real life issue. The scariest thing is that this happens in real life and those people have no reason other then they’re just horrible people. My favorite line out of all episodes is Oz’s “Times up... rules change”. Freaking awesome!
