I've always liked this episode and Omok is a butt, but Maybourne is a much bigger pain in one, and I always feel better when the Nox show up.

2020-09-20 02:31:43 +0000 UTCMy guess is that the people of Sarita were engaged in resource wars before the Tollan contacted them. The Tollan probably thought that providing an alternative power source would end their wars, but failed to account for the political situation. I think they learned the wrong lesson from their mistakes on Sarita, becoming more isolationist when the real solution was to learn more about the local situation rather than arrogantly providing a "perfect" solution from on high. The Nox are fantastic as always. I would love to see more of them.
