Is the jump cut @21:21 on purpose? Or a glitch?

Did you cut in the video on purpose? It jumps from the sisters fighting to Lilo already having Stitch as a pet.

This movie was as great as I remember. Hopefully you can watch this movie called Surfβs Up one day. Not talked about as much as other animated movies but it has a lot meaning behind it like most of them

i'm wondering, is "the mitchells vs. the machines" on your list of movies to react to? it's a newer one and there aren't many reactions to it on youtube, it's great though

if you remember what lilo said about pudge controlling the weather, it would explain why she as a little kid is so concerned about getting him a sandwich on time, considering her parent's died from driving in the rain

LOVED this movie growing up, so glad you did a reaction. Another favorite of mine was Peter Pan, I was obsessed with this one!

This movie had many "sequels", I think one was a part 2, then there was a "straight to dvd" movie that served as a pilot for a show, which the show had like three seasons, then a final movie that was like a grand finale for the show. I remember watching the show growing up, it was actually pretty funny.

Dont know how accurate it is but i heard a fan theory that nani was a champion surfer on her way to be a professional surfer before she became Leo's guardian.

As far as sequels go, Disney was churning out a bunch of direct to VHS sequels during this time. Their quality ranged from bad to decent, which is probably why you don't hear about them as much.
Lilo and Stitch had a direct to DVD sequel called "Stitch!", that served also as the pilot to the 65-episode cartoon series that followed. A 'proper' sequel eventually followed, "L&S 2: Stitch Has a Glitch!", and the cartoon series ended with a movie called Leroy and Stitch.
There were also two foreign adaptations, a Japanese Anime based in Okinawa and a Chinese cartoon based in the Huangshan mountains.
They are planning a live action adaptation, but that is up in the air right now.
Final fun fact, Chris Sanders, one of the directors/creator of the concept, voices Stitch himself.

He mentioned in an earlier comment, but he lost ten minutes of footage. He tried to save it, but no dice.

there's a weird skip at 21:20, it skips from the argument between Nani and Lilo, to after Lilo already has Stitch.

Oh, you want a space oriented animated film?
Treasure Planet.
Space/Scifi retelling of Treasure Island, with loveable characters and great animation. It was considered the last 2D animated film from Disney until Princess and the Frog.

Fun fact, the duo behind this movie would go on to make How to Train Your Dragon. It's easy to make the connection because of how similar Toothless looks to Stitch.
I adore this movie. While there's antagonists, it's one of the few Disney films pre-Frozen that don't have an outright villain. Bubba understands Nani's trying but still needs to do his job, the aliens are just on a recall mission, and even Captain Gantu is just stepping in when they fail. He's a bit of anjerk, but he's not outright villainous in this one.

Moana was actually inspired by multiple Polynesian Islands, Hawaii is an island with the United States. Plus, the island in the movie was more isolated, they didn't really have access to other tribes until I assume they started voyaging again. I do wish that Disney did more alien or space inspired stuff, I love it!
