The Incredibles did do well, there is a sequel, its pretty popular

2021-09-11 21:32:02 +0000 UTCPixar is a subsidiary of Disney. It was actually owned by Steve Jobs before being sold to Disney. As for why they took so long to make a sequel, Brad Bird said he didn't want to make more unless he had a good, thought out story for it.

2021-09-09 00:59:54 +0000 UTCThis is one of three Pixar movies done by Brad Bird, the other being Ratatouille, and the sequel Incredibles 2 in 2018. He also directed The Iron Giant which is a fantastic 2D/CG film from Warner Brothers, and I highly recommend it.
