2021-10-31 19:20:30 +0000 UTCFun fact: At one point, we see somebody load a crystal into the ship, which is likely a reference to a line from Toy Story where Buzz asks Woody, "do you still use fossil fuels or have you discovered crystallic fusion?" This pretty much confirms that this movie isn't about a "real astronaut" in Andy's universe, but is instead a fictional story upon which the Buzz Lightyear toy is based on in Andy's universe, like others have mentioned.
