I always find it a bummer when someone turns on a person who was decent towards them, but it kinda reminded me of the episode is avatar the last Airbender when the old man turns the earth bender in after the earth bender only used it to save his life. It reminds me a little of the idea that even if you aren't treated fairly, acting fairly is about who you are internally rather than about any external reward? And might even come with risk to do what you feel is right and act within your own integrity/moral compass ðŸ§.
