For me it's less a complaint with a character and more that certain writing choices get repetitive over time. I have no nostalgia for the show because I didn't watch it at a younger age so I am likely less likely to accept things I'm not fond of. I think Mabel has some great episodes and has a lot of potential, so I can see why people in general being hard on her would be annoying. She's still not my cup of tea, which I see less as a flaw in Mabel in universe and more a few weaker writing moments, but I do hear you. I have a hard time enjoying more immature characters in general just due to my own stuff, but I definitely see more that I appreciate about Mabel this time around than I did the first time. I think a lot of people who had to be the responsible one for a Mabel type ... We might respond with more annoyance than is strictly warranted.

She wrote a few tips to recognize if a body is possessed by Bill, apologized to Dipper and found a note written by Bill in the car on the way to the shack saying the following “Note to self: Possessing people Is hilarious! To think of all The sensations I’ve missing out on- burning, stabbing,drowning is like a buffet tray of fun! Once I destroy that Journal, I’ll enjoy giving this body It’s grand finale- by throwing it off the water tower!
