So glad you got to watch this just for fun comedy film! I had a mini dvd player as a child and this was one of the only DVDs I had, so it got rewatched every road trip 🤣. It's a fun one :)

It spawned two straight to DVD sequels that, imo, are not worth checking out, as the writing loses a lot of the magic that made the first so good. The first, however, is a generally funny kids film about nature vs nurture, and a good way to get kids into caring about animals.
