I feel the same way. But I'm hopeful that there's something after. But probably not 😞

Death is something that's been on my mind a lot lately. Specifically, what happens after - because I don't think anything is there. As far as I know, all of our experiences and memories and thoughts and ideas simply end when our brain fires it's last neuron. Movies like this let me forgo that existential crisis for something a little more beautiful - that if there is a place beyond, it can be joyous and wondrous as much as it was for the living.
Corpse Bride is such a good movie and the he should have absolutely ended up with the Bride I'm sorry t-t

Great reaction, as always!
Afterlife, I don't know what I expect to find in an afterlife. I know I believe in something beyond what we can see, but I try to embrace the idea of uncertainty. I was raised in a high control religion that believed strongly in absolutes and were on the extremist side, when I was leaving the group based on some of the teachings I asked what I interpret as God/the universe to let me know if in leaving it I'd have to leave what I saw as God too... Like if it had to be all or nothing. A few days later I got a phone call from a woman on a reserve near my hometown who said she'd been dreaming my phone number for a few nights. She was really apologetic and self conscious but eventually told me she thought it was God/Creator telling her to contact me and let me know he/she/its love is still accessible to me. It was hella weird, if I didn't recheck the phone records multiple times to see the call and length of call and hadn't journalled the conversation in detail along with the name and what not I'd think I was remembering a weird dream. So... I still believe something/someone exists and that being connected to whatever that is is important. But also, I realise that logically some of my interactions and experiences very much don't match my years studying the sciences. Life is a fascinating thing! ✨
Loved your reaction as always! Only recently watched this movie for the first time myself.
