Kroashent Commission: A Frog at the Fountain

A commission for Srngtdrew continuing the adventures of Sieur Michelle (Formerly Sieur Mike), a curse-prone knight who can't seem to catch a break. When a diplomatic mission takes Mike to formal ball in Port de la Lune, she assumes that being forced to wear a dress and mingle with the nobility would be the worst of it. But when she receives a summons to meet a mysterious woman at the city's magical fountain of wine, things take a turn for the worst, when Mike's rival, Claude d'Artois, now in the guise of the noblewoman Claudia as a result of a curse of her own, reveals herself, having poisoned the unlucky knight with a magical potion that turns her into a frog. Will Claudia's scheme succeed, or can Mike's beloved find a way to reverse the spell in time!!!

Its always a fun challenge to continue the adventures of Drew's characters in Alvez, allowing me to both draw fun characters and scenarios, while also showing little snippets of the world of Kroashent that Kathalia, Gwae and their circle of friends, enemies and frenemies don't often get to travel to, such as the Akitanian capital of Port de la Lune. Akitania is located to the South of Letha, possessing a temperate climate and long coastline against a great bay that allows the region to establish itself as a agricultural and trading powerhouse. The Viscounty of Aulnay, where Mike and Therese hail from is one of its many vassals, and travel to the largest city in the region is a regular, but uncommon trip for them both. The city is known for its wine production, to the point where the local fae population has enchanted a fountain to produce red wine instead of water in the centre of the town as thanks for a past generosity to the Faerie peoples.
