I withdraw my recommendation for Eden Lake (I suggested it to you on See Jane Go Tv), I'm afraid this film will traumatise you and Jane as it's much more explicit in terms of violence but the story is excellent and the subject very interesting. For your next reaction, give The Sorcerer's Apprentice a chance and for the next poll, please add Snow White (2012) again. Even if it wasn't a hit in the votes, it's really great!!!

The eyeball scene was definitely out of pocket... but I really think the different perspective of mutants is what made me love this movie. Interesting is definitely the way I'd describe this one lol. I think you and I both agree this movie was hard to predict but also in parts it had some silly / nonsensical moments where something simple could solve a problem (such as the flame lady), but I can get past all that. The movie isn't perfect but it's really great to watch stuff that's from like a different reality out of the things we have come to know and love such as X-men, this movie did a good job showing a weird and quite disturbing angle on the idea of mutants.
