Chapter 16 : Part Three preview...

We've been doing a huge amount of work on the website over the past few days ahead of the next game release.

We've deployed changes to thousands of files across all the existing chapters with the goal of further improving site performance and consistency.
We've had over 17 million file requests in the past 21 days and a huge amount of bandwidth use, which is both fantastic and a little stressful at times.

The website restructure has been an enormous help in terms of coping with that level of demand.
We will be implementing another quite significant update in the next few days to improve content delivery too.
This may require a brief period where the website goes offline but I'll keep you posted when and if that's going to happen.

Of course most of these updates should go more or less unnoticed if everything goes smoothly.

The array of changes is probably too long to list, but has included finally removing and replacing all the remaining animated GIF files from Ch1 to Ch8.
The old GIF files were excessively large, and the new JPEG image sequences are a much more efficient way of creating animations.
Only those of you with a very keen eye to detail will spot some of the other visible changes and improvements to gameplay in some of the other chapters.

Message me if you think you've spotted something and, if you are correct, I might reward you with extra credits!

Updates and corrections
I'm continually working on and looking to improve my games and also correcting any errors that slip through the net.
Thank you again to those of you who have taken the time to report any glitches or anomalies.
I always try to fix them as soon as possible.

I've just deployed some updates to Chapter16:Pt1 and Chapter16:Pt2.
Along with fixing a game ending error, these changes should make it a bit easier to track your progress, particularly on the Bridgette pathway.
I'll be adding more to this soon too.

I'm also working on walkthroughs for the chapters in Act 3 at present.
This covers all the pathways which run through from Chapter14 to Chapter16.
The idea being that you should be able to navigate your way through what is a complex and interrelated set of tasks and events to find all the outcomes and all the really fun stuff.

Chapter 16 : Part Three...
Finally, we are still on track for releasing Ch16:Pt3 by the end of this month.
I want to get the remaining website upgrades completed before the release for what should be fairly obvious reasons if you've read through this post.

Along with the preview image above, I'll be releasing several more images as the countdown to the next release commences...
