I tried to have a mixture of surprised, confused and hopeful, and the page became stalled as I couldn't decide which direction to take. I even ended up completely re-drawing panel 3. Comic-making is sometimes turbulent.

I think as per usual your instincts are on point though! It definitely reads correctly, and I think the dialogue, pacing, and composition do a lot of heavy lifting to that end. The sketch concept and the second pass I think are both good, esp. the latter. The only one that looks even slightly off is the original lineart, but only when compared to the other versions. I like that you ended up placing the “camera” very low in the finished panel, I think it does a lot to open up his eyes and move his face towards that target expression. In the end I think you absolutely nailed it!! It completely reads as Joe’s sweet innocent considerate self, and you also did an excellent job capturing the moment of, “I just came, and I’ll stop if Travis wants, but I’m still extremely turned on, ready for more, and I want more of Travis” ❤️😩😭 These two are so fuckin cute I wanna wrap one arm around each and group hug the good bois Also Travis’s expression is so perfectly, “Oh fuck that’s so hot, he wants more. I want more!!” It’s the literal porn version of, “But wait, there’s more!”
