Behind the scenes, Lights, Compositing, Edits in Space!

It's been a busy but fun few weeks here! I've been spending time in the animation studio (working with the lighting/compositing teams), the edit suite (checking transitions of sequences with the editor) and the recording studio (recording new cues or adjusting timing of fades to match the video). We are closing in on the final weeks of the (visual side) of the production on the Space Cadet film.
I'm still amazed everyday by all the tiny decisions each of the artists has made on every frame. From the smallest movement or a blink of an eyelid of character to the layout and lighting of each set. So fun to see it coming together!
I'll be heading to Annecy Animation Festival to do a work in progress presentation next week! We are very excited to share some of the completed clips on the big screen with the attendees there!
