Behind the scenes ~ January & February

It can be all too easy to be swallowed whole by harsh winter winds and bitterly cold brain demons. Spending this January holing up at home, resting and recuperating was the best choice I've made in a while!
Of course it's extremely difficult now finances are suuuuuper thin (...-ner than usual π
), but taking some time off to properly and intentionally climb back on top on things has done my mind an immeasurable mountain of good.
Winter can be so tough, so I'm actually really proud of myself for learning to step back and recuperate when I need to! I really think this is the year that I finally learn to uphold my projects aswell as my health, not instead of. Opposed to how it used to be ~ a manic and detrimental trade off in the chaos of yesteryears gone by!
So yes! Despite being broke, I'm better! I'd rather struggle along for a bit to take care of my brain and body and in doing so, I'm setting the foundations for a year of being able to create and enjoy creating, healthily and sustainably π₯°
Eeep! I'm back to work in full force in March so it's not long now! And here's some behind the scenes from the suuuper limited work I took on in Jan ~ featuring a couple of days spent shooting with the always amazing Orson Carter (results to follow!), a day spent posing for the lovely artist Lisko... And my dog being my desk π€
Hope Winter has been treating you all kindly! Have lots of hot baths and mulled cider, it gets you though!
