Behind the scenes ~ April

Hi lovely ones!

Things are looking up! The universe has been sending me so many signs and so many glimmers and so I just can't shake the feeling that everything is going to be okay. It's a really horrific thing I went through but finally acknowledging it, even if it had to intensely drag me under, really has meant that I am now able to heal. And wow the process has taught me so much! I shall divulge more when I can, and trust that I am turning this into something great and utilising it to propel me forwards. There is still a long road ahead, but I feel comfort in the clarity.

Here's April's behind the scenes from before the crash ~

- A lovely shoot with Orson Carter (these edits incoming next!)
- Some snaps of my home life
- Heading to work in London
- A Beltane themed shoot with the lovely Marc Gascoigne (plus some joyful outtakes!)
- Staying with my lovely grandmother whilst in London
- Shooting with the wonderful Seetheeyes
- Visiting a cherished friend and fellow survivor upon their narrowboat (soothing for me on many levels as my grandparents used to own one, so I grew up on the canals and miss it dearly!)
- And heading home... and then eventually London post episode to heal and recuperate.

So, here's another photo dump of me in all my various escapades! Hopefully still channelling the real and the raw. I even had an insecure moment, where I wanted to put a filter over one of these photos where facepaint is drying in such a way it really highlights my forehead lines. Then I thought to myself OBVIOUSLY NOT. The whole point is to be authentic and natural! What came over me, my defenses are clearly a little down at the moment!

I didn't just begin this modelling journey to reclaim myself, I began it to challenge the nonsensical societal conditioning of what beauty is. And beauty is everywhere. Some lines on my forehead don't stop that 🥰

Anyways, in general I am doing much better and I'm so grateful for the overwhelmingly kind and generous support from those around me whilst I go through this. It really has sucked losing so much income whilst the episode took hold, but the support here and any coffees bought on Buy Me a Coffee have seriously meant the absolute world to me and made such a difference for this lil feral creature! Still a long way to go to claw myself back but I'm getting there, and thankyou all SO much for being so awesome!
