MLV Character Sheet - Discussion
Added 2018-07-11 15:57:51 +0000 UTCWhen I started writing MLV, I realized I was writing a very character-heavy story. I'd created a spreadsheet and listed important things about these characters, so I'd have a reference while writing.
And of course once the story got going, things got out of date as I adjusted the story for better quality over the original design.
But the idea was sound: a spreadsheet with important character information. So I went back, updated the sheets, and put them into a googlesheet.
I'm still writing Medusa, so I haven't had the time to double check the information here, but most of it should either be accurate, or near accurate. I'll let you readers know when it's been double-checked to be more accurate.
In the mean time, here's the published version of the data. SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't read MLV through though.
When I get back to MLV and start writing again, I'll be creating updates to the sheets for each book I finish.

2018-07-12 15:57:39 +0000 UTCLunarLilith: This is really great to see. One of the reasons that I started reading your MLV story is because I was part of a group that played the original Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop RPG when it was first released it in 1991. One of my friends got a beta copying of the first book from someone he knew at White Wolf, so we had to download it and print it out, but it was such a huge change from the years we had spent playing Dungeons & Dragons (in terms of being far more focused on story, politics, back-stabbing, etc.). While your world, which I assume was based on the second edition Vampire: The Requiem game world, has enough in common with the game I played to be easy enough for me to understand. However, it also has some huge differences that kept the world fresh and exciting. The biggest changes were the addition of the Covenants (in the original game there was primarily only the Camarilla or the Anarchs, and the removal of over half the original 13 Vampire Clans down to the 5 that remained for Requiem. What kept me coming back and reading the story though, were the amazing characters that you wrote and the plot that was so deliciously scheming and twisted. Bravo on crafting such an excellent story that really took me back to my days at the gaming table. NovusAnimus: There ya go.

2018-07-11 23:43:19 +0000 UTCI'll see about adding more elements to the sheet. I'll turn the sheet into a bible, eventually, with every little detail about every character, once I'm back to writing MLV.

2018-07-11 18:22:29 +0000 UTCThis is useful, thanks! Is it possible to add more info for the data categories? Like characteristics, key strengths and weaknesses, key info or history - that sort of thing
