MLV - Character Sheet Discussion
Added 2018-09-04 17:15:55 +0000 UTCSo I'm writing Medusa's final chapters, it's looking like chapter 15 will be a normal chapter length, and chapter 16 will be the final chapter. Not sure what the length will be on chapter 16, but I'm aiming for a minimum 22k words.
While I'm doing that, I'm also planning out how I'm going to be updating a My Little Ventrue shared Character Sheet that people can look at if they want to keep track of characters.
This was the published sheet for Book 2. In the future it'll be a bit more streamlined; no need for 4 tabs all showing the same information.
The plan is, once I'm halfway into Book 3, I'll make the 'proper' character sheet available online, and I'll keep updating it as I write all the books. I'll only add information as it becomes public in the released chapters, so I don't spoil anything. And every time I finish a book, I'll publish that version of the sheet for that book, and continue updating it as a new sheet when working on a new book. This way ALL information is always available on the latest sheet (for those who keep up with the releases), but if a reader is only on book 3, they can get the book 2 version of the sheet to avoid spoilers.
Unlike Medusa, which really only has 4 characters and a few minor characters, MLV already has 6 main characters, about 6 main-but-not-quite-main characters, and a host of minor characters. And it's only going to get larger as I create the Dolareido setting. I'm only in the planning stages for books 4+ and I'm up to 60+ total characters!!!! I'll need to be careful.
Feel free to suggest things you want added to the sheet. I'll probably be creating a second sheet too, to handle the physical locale Dolareido and its districts/zones/places.
