Tax?
Added 2020-05-25 12:20:36 +0000 UTCPatreon is being forced to start taxing people their Patreon pledges based upon the living location of individual patrons, since each country/state has their own rules.
I imagine this won't apply to a lot of my patrons, since everything on my Patreon is generally 'early access to public stuff' which should be tax free in many places. But you never know. This starts next month.
Patreon will be releasing a public statement/e-mail about this soon, but I figured I should give you a heads up. This could be zero tax, or anywhere up to 20% tax, depending on where you live and what your patronage is getting you.
