He recently did an interview with Choi Youngjun (a choreographer who's worked with Seventeen since debut) where they spoke a lot about dance. It sheds a bit of light on how Hoshi has contributed to Seventeen's choreography.

2026-01-04 03:58:32 +0000 UTCHoshi is my favorite dancer of all time. He is so good at balancing his dance. I watched a lot of idols dance and Hoshi is just different. Many idols are so good at popping and locking their upper body, but they cant control on their footwork at the same time. They are also not very clean with their angles and position. But Hoshi can balance both upper and lower body. His footwork is out of this world. Its so clean, you could see every angle. He's born to be a dancer or idol. ๐ฏโค๏ธ

He understands his body and its limits and brings a lot of energy to their performances, hyping up the members both on stage and behind the scenes and even off stage. As much as Carats tease him and call him a hamster, he really is a tiger on stage๐ฅ
