The next era of Highreach begins now.
Patreon supporters can now access the Beta Release of Version 2 — a massive overhaul that expands, refines, and reimagines nearly every part of the High King's home experience.
Here’s what’s included in the beta:
🏔️ Highreach Relocated
Highreach is no longer tucked beside Solitude — it now stands proudly in the Jerall Mountains, nestled in a snowy valley near the border of Cyrodiil. Lore-friendly, dramatic, and worthy of a sovereign.
🛡️ New Castle Walls
The vanilla Whiterun walls are gone. In their place: high-quality, fully navmeshed fortress walls that can be walked by both the player and guards. Real fortifications. Real patrols.
🏛️ Guild Hall Replaces Sovngarde
The old placeholder is gone. Eldis, Kalel, and Veldar now reside in a newly built Guild Hall — a central hub for future expansions and quests.
⚔️ Frostchill Arena Rebuilt
No more boxy interior cells — Frostchill is now a full outdoor coliseum, complete with stone viewing decks for the High King and roaring waterfalls nearby.
🌄 Valley Overhaul
The worldspace of Highreach has been rebuilt from the ground up. Rivers, bridges, waterfalls, foliage, Coldrun Lake, mountains, trees, animals, and roads now define a vast Highreach Valley, ready to explore.
🏰 Highreach Keep Overhaul
The castle itself has been expanded massively:
New Rooms: Royal Quarters, Kitchen, Grand Council Chambers, Assassin’s Hall, Wizard’s Study, Healer’s Room, Children’s Bedroom (Hearthfire compatible), Servants' Quarters, and more.
Architecture Upgrade: No more Windhelm textures. The Keep now features a warm stone aesthetic, new rooftop access, and even a chicken coop on the balcony.
Lord Commander Suite: The King’s old room has been converted into a private domain for your appointed commander.
📚 Highreach Lore Books
Found in the Scholar’s Study, five new lore books detail the origins of Highreach, its Cyrodiil-Nordic design, and hints about Surgus’s deeper story.

Some areas are incomplete or may contain minor visual bugs.
This beta does not alter scripts — so it’s safe to load into an existing save.
If you run into any issues, report them in the Discord and revert to 1.5 if needed.
