After travelling to Thailand to visit his college friend, Tony finds himself in the awkward position of being transformed into his dream girl. Unable to keep their hands off each other, Tony ends up pregnant with triplets and has to come to terms with the fact that this will be his new life.
Part 4
Toni woke slowly, her face was cushioned by soft hair, strong arms wrapped tightly around her soft curvy frame, crushing her breasts against warm skin. She simply enjoyed it for a moment, but then her mind caught up, and her eyes snapped open. She could still feel her heavy lashes, her plump lips, not to mention a familiar, gratifying ache between her legs. She was still a woman!
“Jonny! Jonny, wake up! I’m still me!”
She couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she shook him awake. Jonny sat up bleary eyed and confused but the moment he saw her, Toni watched as his gaze cleared and a smile of utter relief spread across his face.
“You’re still here,” He breathed, kissing her passionately before quickly pulling away. “I mean, uh, I don’t mean to sound so relieved; it’s just that…”
“I know.” She smiled gently. “I understand. The truth is I am a little relieved myself but also confused. Do you think that guy lied to us?”
“He must have. It’s the only explanation.”
There was a pregnant pause before Jonny spoke again.
“Did you want to go see him again?” He asked gently, cupping her face, “You could always just…throw the idol away and stay like this, stay with me.”
“I want that,” Toni said without hesitation. “I know it’s weird to have embraced this life so fast, but this whirlwind romance is the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I’ve never been so…satisfied in my entire life.”
Jonny grinned and wiggled his eyebrows, making Toni giggle.
“But we should probably go see him and find out what’s going on. The last thing I want is to get comfortable and then wake up as my old self because of some weird clause in the magic we didn’t know about.”
Jonny shuddered.
“Good point. I have the day off, but that market won’t open until the night, so we have plenty of time to spend together.”
Toni didn’t get the chance to say anything else before his lips were on hers, and they were rolling back into the sheets with breathy laughter that soon turned to moans.
~
Toni had a spring in her step as they walked through the crowded street. The night market was in full swing, and she was feeling like a million dollars. She was dressed in a tight, slinky dress that would hang seductively off a thinner woman, but with her big butt and breasts it clung to her, showing off every curve in detail. Men looked at her with hungry eyes, and Jonny tightened his grip on her arm.
“Now, don't go getting jealous.” She cooed, and Jonny rolled his eyes.
“I can't help it, they are looking at you like a piece of meat.”
“So do you.”
“Yeah, but I at least know you’re more than that.”
Toni hugged his arm tight and kissed his shoulder.
“Such a sweetheart…”
They neared the little market stall and Toni met the owner's eyes through the crowd. He was smiling, selling one of those idols to an unsuspecting tourist, but when he saw Toni, his face dropped. She had to fight to keep the grin off her face; this guy had caused her a whole lot of confusion and grief, he deserved to be messed with a little in return.
“Surprised to see me?” She greeted, doing her best to sound mad.
“I swear! You should have changed back!” He cried, “I fixed it!”
“Clearly not, since I still have a curvy lady on my arm and not my college friend,” Jonny added.
The stall holder was white as a sheet; his mouth opened and closed as he started half a dozen sentences trying to explain it. Toni had expected him to smooth-talk them, or try to lie; maybe he really did have his heart in the right place. Well, as much as a con artist who enjoyed ripping off tourists with magical trinkets could have their heart in the right place.
“I’m not mad.” Toni revealed eventually, “But do you know why it didn’t work?”
“It should have! So long as nothing major changed about you, but it had only been a single day! I don’t understand how you could have changed in a way the magic couldn’t fix…”
Her mother’s words echoed in her ears, and Toni licked her lips nervously.
“Would a change like…pregnancy affect it?”
The stall holder paused and thought for a moment before nodding.
“Yes, that would do it.”
Jonny stiffened, and Toni felt her face flush.
“My mother was saying all the women in our family are very fertile…”
“So you’re…”
“Maybe, it might explain why I didn’t turn back.”
There was a pause before the stall owner clapped his hands together.
“Well! It seems like you two have a lot to talk about, preferably somewhere not in front of my stall.”
He gave them a smile that was too wide to be genuine and motioned for them to move aside before he gazed fixed on his next customer and started yelling in broken English once more.
“I think he’s glad we’re not his problem anymore,” Jonny muttered, taking Toni by the arm and guiding her over to an empty doorway away from the crowd. “So, you might be pregnant.”
“I guess we should go get a test and find out.”
“Don’t you have to wait till you miss your period for those to work?”
“How should I know?! I’ve never even had one! Up until yesterday, I never had to think about getting pregnant!”
Toni bit her nails; everything had been so perfect this morning, she had her dream guy, a dream body, and now this new wrench had been thrown into the mix. Most women had at least a month of blissful ignorance before they found out they were pregnant, thanks to the magic she knew straight away! Her heart was racing in her ears and everything Jonny was saying passed through one ear and out the other.
“I don’t know anything about being pregnant. What are we going to do?” She said in a panic, “I’m supposed to take vitamins, right? And there are foods I shouldn’t eat. Oh God, I had porridge for breakfast. Is that one of the things pregnant women should avoid? What if I have already fucked this up?”
“Toni, Toni! Hey!”
Jonny grabbed her firmly by the shoulders to stop her frantic pacing. The touch grounded her, and she immediately fell against his chest and let him wrap those strong arms around him.
“Deep breaths…”
Toni did as he said and let the calm flow in and out of her.
“Better?”
“Yeah, but I am pretty sure you just said that so you could feel my tits pushing against you.”
“...A happy bonus.”
Toni giggled; Jonny had a way of making everything seem okay.
“I guess all that talk of vitamins answers the question of whether or not you’d want to keep it.”
Toni blinked; the other option hadn't even crossed her mind.
“And the fact that you said ‘we’ not ‘I’ tells me you’re in this for the long haul.” Jonny smiled softly.
Again, the idea that Jonny wouldn't support her and be a father hadn't crossed her mind. Judging by the way he was smiling down at her, she seemed justified; Jonny wasn't going anywhere.
“You have every right to up and dump me. I show up, tell you I’ve been magically transformed into a woman, warped reality, seduced you and then gotten pregnant all in forty-eight hours.”
“Yeah, it’s been a hell of a weekend.” Jonny laughed, “But guess what? I don't care. I wouldn't trade you for anything. I’ve always wanted a big family anyway. Yeah, it’s a little faster than I would have planned it, but that’s what we get for being reckless, eh?”
“Wait a minute…” Toni’s brow furrowed. “That idol changes me to be perfect for you; does that mean…oh my God, dude, do you have a pregnancy fetish?”
“Wha-Toni! You can't just ask that in public!”
“Your ears are red.”
“Shhhhhh, this is embarrassing.”
Toni couldn’t help it; she laughed. Of course, her being super fertile was because of that idol. She couldn't even be angry; Jonny hadn't asked for this. Sometimes, when life got ridiculous, all you could do was laugh, so that’s what Toni did. Eventually, Jonny joined in, and they were both bent double, wiping tears from their eyes.
“Okay, let’s go get a drink. I think we’ve earned it.”
“Mocktail for me.”
“Obviously. Come on.”
Jonny offered his arm, and Toni looped hers through it. If nothing else, even if this pregnancy turned out to be a disaster, at least she knew Jonny would be there, every step of the way.
~
They spent the rest of the day enjoying one another’s company. They didn’t talk about the pregnancy. Instead, they wandered the streets of Bangkok arm in arm, talking about college days, laughing about stupid things and ducking into the occasional alley for a quickie. At least if she was already pregnant, they didn’t need to worry about more protection.
The next morning, it was like a spell had broken; their wild, whirlwind weekend was over. Toni squeezed her eyes shut in fear for a moment when she first woke, scared she would be back in her male body. But to her delight, things stayed as they were. Jonny had to get up and go to work, but he left her with a passionate kiss that made her lips tingle for an hour afterwards. They didn’t need to discuss their living situation; it was obvious she would be living here for the foreseeable future. So Toni settled in, she cleaned a little, picked up the recipe books off the shelf and started to flip through them.
Back in her old life, her mom had died when she was still a teen, and her father had barely known how to work a toaster, so she was already a pretty good cook. There was no point going out and trying to get a job, even if he was stuck in an entry-level position. Jonny made good money, and nobody was going to hire her for long once she started to show.
So they settled into an odd routine: Jonny would work, Toni stayed home, relaxing and keeping house, then they would both fuck like rabbits every spare chance they got. Every morning, Toni would check the mirror, looking for any signs of pregnancy while counting the days on her calendar. Eventually, a month passed without any sign of a period, and Toni finally took the fateful trip to the drug store.
She stared at the little box in her hand, a happy smiling face beamed at her from the box promising results in less than two minutes. What result did she want? She didn’t know how to be a mother; she barely even had one. One she remembered anyway. At the same time, though, it was almost certain she was pregnant. Otherwise, she could have turned back.
“I hope you get the result you’re looking for.” The woman behind the counter smiled.
Toni tried to smile back, but she didn't even know what result she wanted.
Toni sat, hunched over the toilet at the back of the drug store and watched as a pink smiley face, clear as day, slowly appeared in the little window. Positive. Pregnant. She clapped a hand over her mouth. Her weeks of pushing it to the back of her mind were over. In a few months, she was going to have a baby—a baby with Jonny.
The idea made her heart flutter with excitement and her stomach churn with fear. She didn't even register what the woman at the counter said as she walked out in a daze. She should have run home and phoned Jonny, but he wouldn’t be home for several hours, and the idea of sitting alone in her new home, buzzing with this news, felt like actual torture. Instead, she checked her phone and quickly waved over a taxi, giving the address she’d just found. It was a long drive, but it would be worth it.
~
The house was large, with a little garden out the front. It was on the edges of Bangkok, not right in the city like Jonny’s place. There was more space between the buildings here; the pace seemed slower. It helped calm her racing heart as she raised a hand and knocked.
The woman who opened the door would have been in her sixties but could easily pass for a decade younger. Her hair had been dyed silky black and pinned up above her head, stretching out some of the natural laugh lines of her face to hide them. She was only an inch taller than Toni, and after a month of always being the smallest person in the room, it felt nice to stand eye to eye with somebody.
“Toni!” the woman gasped.
“Hi, Mom.”
Warm arms were around her in seconds. It wasn't like being hugged by Jonny; it felt different. They were familiar in a way that made Toni’s heart ache; there really wasn't anything like a mother’s love.
“Well!” Her mother said with a huff, “You’ve been here a month; it took you long enough to come visit!”
“You could have come to me.”
“No, I wanted to wait and see how long it took, Toni, Dear, goodness, you’ve grown; it’s been years since I laid eyes on my baby.”
The word Baby made a cold sweat start on the back of her neck.
“Actually, that’s what I wanted to talk about.” She started as they sat down in the living room.
“You never visiting?’
“No, a baby. I’m pregnant.”
And just like that, she burst into tears. She didn't even know why she was crying, she was so excited! But once she started, she couldn’t stop; maybe her hormones were already going wild.
“Oh, darling.” Her mother placed an arm around her shoulders, “There, there, I did warn you to be careful.”
“I’m happy about it. Jonny is, too.” Toni sniffed. “I don’t know why I am crying.”
“It’s a lot. Most women cry no matter what. A baby is a big thing.”
Especially when they had only been women for a month, Toni wanted to add but thought better of it. Her mom wiped her eyes and gave her a tight hug.
“I hope this man of yours was worth travelling the globe and getting knocked up for.” her mother teased, it was light but Toni could hear hurt in her voice.
“I’m sorry I didn’t come back to visit more,” she whispered. “Now that I am going to be staying here, I promise I will.”
Her mother patted her hand fondly and gave her a smile that said she didn’t really believe it but wasn't going to say.
“No, mom, I mean it.” Toni insisted, “I’m here to stay now. I’ve been thinking lately how some people take their parents for granted, some people…they don’t have a mom, and I want to spend time with mine while you’re still here.”
“No need to get morbid, darling, I have plenty of years left. Now, let’s focus on getting you ready and prepared. Have you been taking your vitamins?”
She immediately launched into a making list, writing down all the things a pregnant mother should and shouldn’t do; the latter column was much larger than Toni would have liked. But it still brought a smile to her face; she had a mom again.
~
Toni’s fingers trembled as she gripped Jonny’s hand, her heart racing with both excitement and a hint of nerves. It was the day they’d been waiting for—her first ultrasound. Toni was finally about to see her baby. The thought of it made her smile, even though a part of her was still unsure of what to expect. She was almost at the end of the first trimester, and already she looked big enough to be well into the second. Jonny kept making jokes about how the baby needed to be put on a diet already.
The ultrasound room was dim, the only light coming from the soft glow of the machine. The technician asked Toni to lie back on the examination table. Toni’s stomach fluttered in anticipation as the technician squirted a cool gel onto her abdomen. The sensation made her shiver, but Jonny’s warm hand in hers provided a steady comfort.
“Alright,” the technician said, smiling reassuringly as she placed the wand on Toni’s stomach. “Let’s take a look.”
The screen flickered to life, showing a grainy, black-and-white image of something that vaguely resembled a baby, though Toni wasn’t sure what she was looking at. It looked more like static than anything human.
“There it is,” the technician said, pointing to a small, squirming figure on the screen. “Your little one.”
Toni felt her whole heart squeeze. The static was suddenly the most beautiful thing she had ever seen in her life.
“Oh my God,” she whispered, squeezing Jonny’s hand tighter. “That’s our baby. Look at them.”
Jonny grinned, his face lighting up with excitement.
“Yeah, that’s our little nugget,” he said, “They are so small, I thought they’d be bigger…considering.”
His eyes ducked down to her round belly and Toni giggled. The technician shifted the wand slightly, taking measurements, and then paused, her fingers moving over the controls. A frown creased her brow, but she quickly masked it with another smile.
“Everything looks great so far,” she said. “But... let’s just check something.”
Toni’s heart skipped a beat. The technician’s tone had shifted just enough to make her stomach tighten.
“Is something wrong?” Toni asked, her voice trembling slightly.
“No, not at all,” the technician reassured her. “Just a couple of extra heartbeats I want to double-check.”
Toni felt her mind go blank for a second.
“Did you say a couple extra heartbeats?”
Seconds stretched into what felt like an eternity. Toni’s breath caught in her chest as she exchanged a look with Jonny. His hand had gone a little clammy in hers.
The technician’s fingers hovered over the controls.
“Okay, it looks like you’re having more than just one baby.”
Toni blinked, trying to process the words.
“What do you mean? Like twins?”
The technician hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded. “Not twins. It looks like... five heartbeats.”
Toni’s entire world seemed to tilt on its axis. Five? Five? She stared at the screen, her mind reeling. Was she hearing this right? Was this some kind of mistake?
She glanced over at Jonny, but he wasn’t looking at her. His eyes were locked on the monitor, his expression frozen, and then—
“Oh my God,” Jonny breathed, his voice thick with wonder. “Toni, we’re having quintuplets.”
Five babies? She was going to have five babies? That was...impossible. She had barely even processed the idea of one. She didn’t even know that was possible.
“Are you sure?” Toni whispered, her voice barely above a gasp.
“Absolutely sure. It’s rare, but it happens. Quintuplets, Toni. Congratulations.”
Jonny suddenly burst into laughter, his joy so pure and unrestrained that it made Toni’s head spin. He leaned down to kiss her forehead, his arms wrapped around her tightly.
“This is amazing, Toni. This is...exactly what I’ve always wanted. A big family. This is... I don’t even know what to say. You did it all in one go. Of course you did, you amazing woman.”
Toni could only stare at the screen as the technician pointed out each one in turn. Five babies. A family larger than either of them had ever imagined, but one that, in some strange way, felt perfectly right.
