This is my new Oc named after Melisande, the character written by E. Nesbit.
A story that I recommend to GTS fans.
A long time ago, a great princess founded the kingdom of Alezia and planted the seed of a tree to symbolize the birth of her kingdom in the heart of the royal garden.
Centuries later, the tree grew to a huge size, towering over the castle at a height of 30 metres, and was named the "Princess Tree" in honour of the founder of Alezia.
Generations of kings and queens have followed one another in the shade of this tree, until the day when Princess Melisande was born.
As she grew up, she became one of the most beautiful princesses in the kingdom.
Her skin became as soft as silk, her hair as long and blond as wheat and her voice as beautiful as a mermaid's song.
Intelligent and curious, she was nevertheless mocked and ridiculed by the other princesses because of her small size.
At the age of 17, she was only 1.40m tall and was nicknamed "Princess Kid".
So Mélisande went to ask for the wish promised by her fairy godmother for her 17th birthday, but she was careful.
She knew, as everyone does, that fairies always understand wishes in the first degree.
Cleverly, she asked her godmother to make her grow a head taller than the tallest princess.
The fairy granted her wish, specifying that she would begin her growth the next day, at the first ray of sunlight, and she would finish her growth once the sun was at its highest point in the sky.
The next day, as promised, Melisande began to grow as the sun rose.
At first she was proud and excited to see her final size, but she soon realised that something was wrong.
She was getting very big, much too big, the morning had barely begun and she had unusual proportions.
She had forgotten an important detail when she made her wish, she had forgotten to specify taller than a "human" princess.
It was therefore in total surprise and panic that Melisande began a gigantic growth, destroying the walls of her room and the castle.
A growth that only stopped once noon had passed, making her 35 metres high.
That is one head taller than the Princess Tree.
