Childhood memories
Added 2023-09-18 18:46:38 +0000 UTCIf today Enora is a strong, hard-working, cheerful teenager who is accepted throughout the village of Gueldeboi, it wasn't always so.
As a little girl, the children often made fun of her, and the parents didn't want her to play with their kids.
It was enormous pressure for a little girl to feel so rejected ; but despite everything, she kept smiling and didn't show her sorrow.
Until moments when, as often happened to her then, she hit the top of the door on the head as she tried to go home.
In those moments, she broke down and cried, not only because of the pain, but also because the accident reminded her that she wasn't normal.
Enora was very depressed at such times, not being like other "normal" children.
But fortunately, her father was always there to console her in those difficult moments.
He, who had never raised a child before, gave his all to put a smile on his daughter's face.
Sometimes, he would carry her on both arms, to show that if her daddy could carry her, like all the other children, then she was no different from the others.
Even if he couldn't do it for long, it was enough to put a smile back on his little girl's face.
Today, even if he can no longer carry her, Enora knows he'll always be there for her.
And even though she has accepted her difference, and is now loved by the whole village, she will always need her little daddy.
