Mav was already awake and playing with his stuffed animals when Daddy walked into the nursery.
"Wow, you're up even earlier than usual, kiddo!" Daddy said with a kindly smile.
Mav babbled through his pacifier and fumbled with his stuffed puppy in response.
As daddy walked over to the crib, he quickly saw - and smelled - what had the Little guy so active.
"Pretty hard to sleep with a load like that in your diaper, huh," Daddy teased ruffling Mav's hair playfully.
Mav ignored Daddy and kept playing as if nothing had happened, not seeming to pay any attention to the mess that was beginning to stain the outer leg gather of his diaper. Just like a real toddler, Mav was used to the feeling of being poopy. Three months into his regression, stinky diapers were simply a fact of life.
