Mav lifted his shirt and peered down at the sweatpants Daddy had just put him in. The edges of his diaper were clearly visible above the waistband, haphazardly poking out in all directions like a poorly-fitted trash bag sticking out from under the lid of a garbage pail. He'd have to hike up the pants comically high to have any hope of hiding the fact the he was in diapers, and even then, the telltale bulge around his groin and bum would surely give things away. To make matters worse, even if Daddy allowed him to go without his hat and paci, the childish dinosaur pattern on the pants and on his shirt would no doubt raise some eyebrows.
"Do I have to go to the grocery store with you Daddy?" Mav groaned. "People are gonna laugh at me."
Daddy smiled wryly. "How could anyone laugh at such an adorable little guy!"
