November Photo #4: Loving the Baby Life
Added 2022-11-30 17:10:33 +0000 UTCThe grocery store wasn't nearly as miserable as Mav thought it would be. He expected to be laughed at and ridiculed mercilessly. Someone his age who still wore baby clothes, sucked on a pacifier, and, worst of all, was still in diapers would surely cause a scene, right? While he did spot a few raised eyebrows and amused smiles as Daddy pushed him around in the cart, Mav was surprised to find how little people seemed to pay attention to him. Even when Daddy very indiscreetly checked his diaper in the checkout line, everyone around him just went about their business as if nothing was out of the ordinary - as if they weren't standing next to a giant toddler with a man peering into the back of his diaper. He even received a few complements from some friendly shoppers on his dino-themed get-up. For the hour and a half he and Daddy were at the grocery store, Mav truly felt like he was two years old again. The boy rode the newfound sense of contentment and confidence he got from his outing all the way home. He didn't even complain when Daddy made him pose for a picture with his big stuffed puppy. Maybe being a baby again wouldn't be so bad!
