MAJOR PATREON UPDATES

Hopefully, most of y'all saw our posts about the upcoming changes to our Patreon. Here's a more detailed list of what is going on.

THE GOAL
Our goal with these changes is to transition from what was a 2020 survival plan and move to a 2022 pushing forward plan. The Patreon and everyone who's participated in it have been massively influential on Ternion Sound and our ability to keep going through the nightmare of COVID. We'll be keeping our Patreon and Discord for a long time as it's become important to us and what we do <3

SOME CHANGES
We're working on writing an album, and for that reason we're ending the monthly EPs. We need that composition time to come up with something really special for everyone.
We're also changing the way our monthly sample packs work. Instead of curated and cut up pre-made sounds, we're offering the raw material that Jack will be creating live on his new twitch show "Exploring Sounds". These are the exact sounds that we use to create Ternion Sound tracks. Patrons will be able to vote on prompts for Jack to explore or recreate.

TIER CHANGES
*** PLEASE LOOK AT THE UPDATED TIERS ***
We're changing what we offer at each tier, so please take a look at our tier page to figure out where you fit! Patreon feels like a bit of a squre peg vs round hole situation for what we like to offer, but hopefully you can find something that works for you. Note that the "Top Tier" tier will be closing in favor of a new "Producers" teir. That change will be implemented in the next 2 weeks and we'll notify everyone before things happen.

NEW SHOWS
We're excited to be moving into a more active relationship with our fans and patrons. To do this, we have 7 new public shows and more private streams that we'll be doing each month! Patrons will have access to many different aspects of these shows, be it voting rights, options to submit content, access to the results of shows, and more.

• Jan 31st - “Monday Hangout” (Aric + Guests, Chatting Show) [monthly]
• ??? - “Production Challenges” (Andrew, Music Production) [patrons only]

SHOW DESCRIPTIONS

“Exploring Sounds” - This is a live twitch stream from Jack where he’ll be recreating sounds that are requested by patrons. At the end of each stream, patrons will get the audio files he made!

“Ternion Selects LIVE” - You already know Ternion Selects, our bi-weekly new music podcast (https://soundcloud.com/ternionselects), now we’re live streaming the mix! We’re also keeping the tune share portion of the show that we’ve come to love.

“Monday Mix Show” - This is a new DJ livestream from Andrew where he’ll be mixing music from all genres and styles. The focus is on mixing music that inspires Ternion Sound!

“Demo-Listen” - Get feedback on your own productions from Jack, Andrew, and special guests!

“Monday Hangout” - This is a chatting stream hosted by Aric. Expect awesome guests, scene politics, and random conversations!
