[INFO] Germany - 07/24

The BuildTheEarth Team Germany has the goal to recreate Germany in Minecraft at a 1:1 scale in this project. The team has a size of over 30000 users, and they've already reconstructed more than 3000 buildings. With each passing day, the team continues to make remarkable progress towards their goal.

🌎 Wuerzburg

Würzburg, a city in northern Bavaria with around 130,000 inhabitants, impresses with its diverse architecture, which reflects a rich history. Founded in 704, Würzburg combines architectural styles ranging from Romanesque and Gothic to Baroque and Rococo. The city is characterized by magnificent facades, elegant bridges and historic squares. The old town in particular, with its narrow alleyways and charming buildings, gives Würzburg a unique character. The harmonious blend of old buildings and modern architecture makes Würzburg a fascinating place for lovers of architecture and history.

🏠 Signal Iduna Park

No other Bundesliga club has such a large spectator capacity as Borussia Dortmund. The Signal Iduna Park can hold over 81,365 people. This makes it the largest soccer stadium in Germany and the sixth largest club stadium in Europe. The parking lot, the "Rote Erde" stadium and the BVB fan world have also been completed. Total area: approx. 131,500 m²

🏠 Schloss Drachenburg

Schloss Drachenburg or Drachenburg Castle is a private villa styled as a palace and constructed in the late 19th century. It was completed in only two years (1882–84) on the Drachenfels hill in Königswinter, a German town on the east bank of the Rhine, south of the city of Bonn. Baron Stephan von Sarter (1833–1902), a broker and banker, planned to live there, but never did. The villa is owned by the State Foundation of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is served by an intermediate station on the Drachenfels Railway.

🏠 Berlin HBF

Berlin Central Station is an impressive example of modern architecture. It was opened in 2006 and impresses with its futuristic glass and steel construction. The building extends over several levels and seamlessly connects long-distance, regional and suburban rail services. Its light-flooded, transparent structure and spacious, open rooms make it an architectural highlight and a central transportation hub in Berlin.

The location has a size of approximately 7 million blocks.
