May art suggestions
Added 2022-04-26 00:37:48 +0000 UTCEvening everyone, hope you're all doing well. May's just around the corner so I'd like to get your suggestions on what you'd like to see from me next month. Feel free to suggest as many things as you'd like whether it's for the R-18 poll or drawings in general.
STORY TIME with Old Man Fu
I remember a long time ago when I was living in Puerto Rico being woken up abruptly by my girlfriend at the time pulling me half naked out of my grandmother's house into what she called "Agua de Mayo"(Water of May). We proceeded to run around in the rain for about an hour or two. After the insanity subsided she explained to me that in Puerto Rico the first rain of May was considered good luck so it was tradition to go out and bathe in it. As you can imagine the experience left me traumatized and I've tried to keep it up ever since.
But why tell this story? Well I was considering what sort of theming I could do for May and the rain came to mind. I've always loved rain. The sound and atmosphere puts me at ease and I love to work in it. I enjoy it so much I try to match the lighting in my room to it.
Ok FREAK you love rain! Get to the point. I'm gonna try any make something rain themed. I just wanted to share that memory. :'>

2022-04-26 03:08:12 +0000 UTCI rarely go for flavor of the month/recent anime characters, but for May I'll throw a curve-ball and suggest Eiko Tsukimi (aka, EIKO) from Ya Boy Kongming! I also highly suggest watching it as well. Great music, comedy and it's essentially Dynasty Warriors Three Kingdoms nonsense and I love it.
