BOOTY HUNTER - #01 DEV LOG (WELCOME)

Wow how time flies, I think I'm going into my fourth week developing this game, and a lot has already been implemented, but I feel there's still a lot of polishing to be done on the mechanics.

I've never liked games where you just see things happening and read the text and jump around until you get to a menu of choices, pick one and keep jumping and repeating this cycle. My vision is that games are made to be played, and the player should feel free to come and go as they please.

But anyway, I think if you're reading this you're more interested in knowing what this game is about and not my vision of games.

I think I can classify Booty Hunter as a Sandbox game with Visual Novel elements, there will be scenes to read, but the player will be free to decide what they would like to do first.

At the moment, the game already has a quest system in place, where all active quests, both main and side, as well as completed, will be visible.

I'm finalizing a clicker battle system, don't expect anything complex just yet, it's going to be very simple so that the battles aren't just a plot thing and can give the player the chance to actually fight the characters.

I think I'll use the rest of this week to finish writing the game's prologue and make some adjustments to the game's HUD and menus.

I'm going to publish a build at the end of the prologue, just a sort of demo of what's to come, but I hope you enjoy it.
