Morning everyone! Hope you're all enjoying the start/middle/end of your weekend. The work week is finally over for me and I can feel a ton less guilty about working on some stuff for myself.

While working this week I've been thinking a lot about Orin and the world I want to make for him to explore. Especially tonight. Had so many ideas that honestly I'm exhausted thinking about writing it all out. I was pretty tired after jogging but I've been dying to draw something that's not work related so I decided to draw one of the many ideas in my hopes to remember everything else. I wanted to draw Orin with one of the creatures and good good friend he'll discover deep in the dungeons BUUUUUUT...I had no idea what it looked like. Well not strong enough of one that I could draw them interacting anyways.

I started looking at some references but in my head I was thinking something cool and bull like. The more references I looked at the further away I started to get with the bull concept though I still wanted it to feel bovine? It morphed into a sort of donkey armadillo. Even though I wanted it to look real cool and intimidating but it turned into this cute derpy thing. Reminds me of Gruntys from .hack actually. Really enjoyed those games.

I wanted to draw an interaction piece but I should get some rest. I don't have a name for the species just yet. I just know the one specific to Orin will be named "Tonto".
