Hey crew! Welcome to the third weekly devlog for Booty Hunter!
This weekβs focus was on building out the fishing minigame and integrating new mechanics that connect with both cooking and the job system. Letβs dive in!

The new fishing minigame is well underway!
Hereβs whatβs planned so far:
π 20 species of fish, divided by rarity:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Super Rare
π A dedicated Compendium menu will track all fish you've caught, perfect for completionists!
πͺ Fish can be sold for money or used as ingredients in the new cooking system (also in development).
To kick off your fishing journey, the update will introduce two basic items:
Old Fishing Rod
Common Bait
These are starter-tier tools, but more advanced rods and bait types will be added in future updates. Your gear β along with your chosen companion β will directly affect your fishing performance and the types of fish you can catch.

Youβll be able to fish alongside any girl from your crew! The more you fish with a companion, the more her fishing level will increase.
However, Hibari has a special advantage β she possesses the Fishing trait, which allows her to level up faster and catch better fish more easily.
This system not only encourages bonding with the crew but also rewards players who invest time in specific characters.
New cards are also on the way and will play a big role in the upcoming job system!
Some cards will grant XP bonuses to certain professions, helping characters level up their jobs more efficiently and unlocking more strategic choices for your crew setup.
