Please make sure you’ve turned on the cheat bb.moveobjects on first — you can do this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C (Windows) or Command + Shift + C (Mac) to open the cheat bar, then type bb.moveobjects on and hit Enter. You can also press T to switch to top-down view, and try aligning the build using the outermost walls as your guide — not the doors — since the room’s doors don’t line up with the original lot’s walls.
