Good day, dear Patrons!
Since previous post time I had no a day without working, my apologies that news becomes a rarity. Most of the time I worked on a New Project and only last few days I was focused on TR (like I pointed in previous post). To the point:
TR story: You've back to the Church and here I decided to diversify the plot lines. We'll get two opposite events - Alternative, where you get a "new role" and Main, where the plot unfolds as intended. More detailed you'll see in the new version.
This is going to be a big update that I hope you like. Once again we'll need an UI (bottom left corner) with a weapon selector to use. But now for a completely different purposes...
New Project: The project from the very beginning turned out to be much more complex than I expected: each stage of working with the character has to be checked and analyzed for compatibility with the idea of its implementation. This is due to the fact that some approaches may not work as expected and I try to make sure that I don't make fatal mistakes when I have to go back and redo the character or other things.
I understand this sounds a little confusing. TR experience helped me prevent mistakes that I've made in the past with it. Choosing the wrong strategy of work you, sooner or later, will understand that it severely limits you or even worse - makes it impossible to continue working as intended. And then you have a choice: adapt or roll up your sleeves and redo about 50% of the done work. That's the place where importance of checking the operability of all functions (at least most of them), which were conceived for implementation comes.
*Images show how the CC3 (in UE4) skin shaders looks like and a regular (simple) shader does.
That's it for now. I hope you enjoy the result. More photos will be after finishing work with shaders (I have to adapt them to redefined character model) in special "dev_section" in our Discord channel.
Back to work,
