As an elf, he is seen as a highly exotic creature. Elves are few in number, and those who have made contact with humans can be counted on one’s hands. Most elves spurn humans, seeing them as annoying, destructive and selfish creatures, but Feynris is different. His thirst for knowledge makes him unique, and drives him to study the many people he comes across. As a result, he fell in love with the human race, especially after realizing how their friendly nature contradicted with the knowledge he grew up with. Instead of hostile and cruel, the people in town are helpful and kind.
Though he is almost always helpful and cheerful, he is often sighing, especially when alone. With his soft and genteel look, no one would suspect that he was once a master assassin for The Shield during the war. Wanting to distance himself from the chaos and sadness, he left his past to start a new, peaceful life in the library of Oston.
