About Programmer
Added 2018-02-17 16:24:37 +0000 UTCHello! I'm Esther, artist and creator for MT.
Today I want your opinion on how to handle the system in place for programmers. As you all know, our project is a small indie game. Everyone on the team has a full time job, so we do this in our free time. Because of this, it's a rev-share project and we can't set specific dates for game updates.
One of my programmers, for example, has recently been busy with their job and studies and have been unable to help.
I understand and don't want to disturb them.
If I hire a programmer, then I think this project will run faster and I'll be able to set up game updates regularly, but I must set up a time to discuss this with my current, volunteer programmer and explain to them the reason for why I'm dismissing them.
The last thing I want to do is cause drama with you guys, but I do want you all to understand that I'm unable to send updates in time and keep the project moving in a manner that I like.
Please understand that I am not neglecting you guys or not caring about what happens. I'm simply trying to fix everything that I can (add more +fanart+comic+artwork+animation, etc.)
I respect all comments from you guys and thank every single one of you that still supports this project and encourages me to keep working on this small indie game.
