Weeeelllll… let’s say I learned a lot. I've found that’s a better way of saying "I totally botched this".
Some things worked. I actually used gouache to glaze very carefully, and that worked nicely. The skin was a catastrophe from the start and no matter now many layers I added, it never stopped. The fabric and patterns are kind of cool. The paper in my sketchbook didn’t take the soft gouache layers for the skin too well, so maybe go for hot-pressed paper for gouache in general.
The next one will be Nale, which will be my first time rendering very dark skin and this'll either be very cool, or turn out very bad.
