Birthday Karaoke Goals
Added 2025-10-13 03:15:35 +0000 UTCToday’s mu birthday, but I got in some pre-b-day karaoke on Saturday. It was apparently Hard Mode, as there was no lyric display. I had to go with something I know inside and out: Devo’s iconic cover of “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” For those unfamiliar, the third verse ends with rapid repetition of the word “baby” about 34 times. Did ‘em all without taking a breath.

This was just through somebody’s phone, but it used to be that at best you’d only get Whip It or Beautiful World. Now I have too much choice, and I pick something like Gut Feeling and forget how long the intro is.
