Augurs for sale + Augur of Irradiation Process
Added 2022-06-21 19:05:53 +0000 UTCHi folks, I'm listing these three Augurs in the shop tomorrow but as always I wanted to give you all an head's up in case anyone would like to claim one before they become publicly available. These 3 are all the ones still in my possession, there other ones are all sold.
Each costs 300€+ 20€ (shipping).

On another note, I thought I had more in-progress photos from the Irradiation piece but turns out most are unusable due to my crappy phone's camera quality.
All the augurs are small drawings and since i've been pencilling digitally I'm sometimes surprised by the how crazy small some of the details end up being. It's the curse of the photoshop zoom, I sometimes don't know if some element of the pencils will be doable until I print the pencils out for inking. That's what happened to this Augur's head. I was really happy with the sketch for the face and then I printed it out and I realized how hard it would be to draw it that small and do justice to the pencils.
Took me a couple of tries but I'm happy with the result. At some point I picked up a coin for this size comparison photo you can see below and it made me realize how decent it actually was for the size. 
The rest was pretty breezy. I'm feeling very comfortable with the bird of prey bodies and weirdly still not tired of drawing them.
Dunno what will be the end point of these drawings. Today I thought of having them all packaged together as small prints inside a card box/folder with a screen printed cover and a small zine to accompany the bundle. That would be awesome but probably too expensive and I'm running out of space to store things to sell in my small apartment anyways. I might just do a zine. Each spread with an Augur and a small bit of moody text. That's totally doable.
But I digress...
