Much more revealing interview than I thought heβd give straight off the bat. Everything youβve been saying YB - π― spot on. AJ telling him βIβve never been shown this stuffβ - βthis stuffβ being bog basic heavyweight techniques. You can tell Shields is surprised AJ has got this far not knowing these things. Also shields saying βthe things you do in the fight youβve got to do every day in the gymβ again not rocket science but has clearly not been happening as the YB has exposed in several videos. Tyson, Holyfield, Sweetpea, Gatti - Shields has trained some serious names. Like Iβve said on here to you guys a few times Iβve never rated AJ as highly or backed him as much as you all have but if this happens I think this is a big step in the right direction for him and automatically shortens the odds in the rematch. If he goes into Usyk 2 with Shields in his corner then for me that fight goes from an 80/20 in Usykβs favour to a straight 50/50 again.
