Personal Health Update (2) + Hello Eastwood info - 1 Week until Intro Release!

Hello folks!  Thank you for sticking with me while I was ill, it really means a lot that you continued to support me during that!  I was sick with the flu for nearly two weeks, but at this point I'm feeling much better! (in truth, I started working again while I was still sick because I was worried about getting super behind).

That said, I'm happy to announce that I'll be posting the introduction of Hello Eastwood next week!  I had hoped to get it to you at the end of last month, but sickness slowed me down.  

The introduction section will span a introduction to the setting, a bit of exploration of your apartment, character creation, an extended interaction with one of your neighbors, as well as (depending on your choices) 2 sex scenes!  

I'm taking this last week to finish up some of the art, and then begin testing the build to make sure it works!  I don't anticipate any delays, as things have been going smoothly since I got back to work!

After the intro is posted, I will go right back to working on the normal patreon rewards for the rest of this month.  May did not go at all as I'd hoped, but I'm happy to be getting back on track!

Before I wrap up this update, I wanted to say a little more on the "exploration of your apartment" aspect that I mentioned earlier.

A large portion of Hello Eastwood will be player directed, and feature point and click exploration and investigation, in addition to typical dating sim conversations and narrative sequences.  I'm more interested in setting up a world for you to dive into, rather than the narrative holding your hand.  By the end of this project, you'll have a surprising amount of freedom regarding where you're able to go and what you're able to do without the dialog stringing you along.  Things are going to start off a little simple and restricted, but with each content update, I'll be expanding the bounds bit by bit until the Eastwood feels like a real city you're able to explore!  I'm super excited about it :D

One specific example of content I have planned is that *eventually* you'll be able to decorate your apartment how you'd like, and invite NPCs over!  I'm really stretching the bounds of what ren'py is capable of, but I've done sample tests to check if the theory works, and it totally does!
