Hello guys! As the time implies I wanted to officially announce NBNL's remake, as you can see with the picture the most noticeable difference is that this remake will be in Honey Select 2 instead of Koikatsu, but there is a lot more changes so I want to divide the post in sections since the game ended up being a very big and clumsy.
Most of NBNL issues came up since I just made stuff as I go, and the ease I had to make new characters, that ended up in characters that were redundant or story lines that passed from being part of the main quest to totality irrelevant. So I intend to solve those issues in the remake.
Biggest changes
- Change from Koikatsu to HS2
-Change on the date system, originally NBNL had it's main story events tied to the date and after reading feedback turns out that people doesn't like the game ending let's say on march 15th, instead the remake will only have week days so you can finish whenever you want
-Big reduction on the cast, the cast passed from around 40 characters to 20 although I haven't finished every detail this would be the cast (there are some that get combined in one like Tara and Lola or Helen and May/Maya)

That's a draft that I made a couple days ago but that's more or less the characters that will be in.
-As I was saying in the last points some characters got changed or combined to avoid clutter or redundancy.
-Main story will be reduced but all the side stories will be way easier to find
-Most likely stats will be turned from numbers to words for the game to make more sense, let's say we'll be changing from having 5 relationship points to being a friend of somebody.
- Instead of deciding via options we'll use imagemaps (clikeable images) so you'll have to explore a little bit.
Conclusion
As always NBNL will remain as the secondary game and a testing ground but this time the game has a planed story and mechanics at the moment I show stuff for the game in the discord and ask for opinions, maybe when I need to ask for bigger stuff I'll make polls but right now there are mostly small stuff.
Thanks for reading the full post!
