Hello guys! This week Lust Survivor v0.9 is available for all our patrons (here) and NBNL v0.16 has been progressing fast.
So how about v0.10? This week I'm finishing talking with one of the artists and if things go right we'll have it by the end of the month, I'd be happy if versions of the game take a month each and I think you'd be happy too, but we'll have to wait for the art and that tends to take some time. For our fist mates we'll be asking again for the next ending card for v0.10 during the week to have the officer's poll soon! So at least for the next couple of weeks things will be slow, mostly getting things ready for the next update but not doing that much for the update.
For NBNL we had a more interesting week, right now we added more events mostly longer events with sex scenes or more movement so I ended up working on 4 new ones, as beach update goes we have 5 beach events, but I think we need a bare minimum of 7 so we can have at least 9 beach events in the game. Probably next week I'll be finishing with the updates so in about 2-3 weeks we'll have v0.16 and that took way less than v0.15.
I guess we can say I've improved the development speed for both games. Since yesterday I feel sick (nothing too important) but it's August and at least here people tend to get sick on August due to the temprerature changes. On other thing that I wanted to say but I didn't find a place it's a lesson I learned from NBNL and also aplies to Lust Survivor: If I start a new game I won't have just a stat as a variable, let's say charisma, specially in NBNL it's a mess to design because 5 charisma means rank up so I can't make Nicole to go past 5 in an event when I have a rank up event but also I want to add choices that improve charisma, so my solution to this proble is to have charisma level and charisma exp as separate variables! So the rank up event checks do you have at least 10 exp? If yes you rank up and random events can give you charisma exp without the risk of breaking the event. I hope it's undertandable but it's a small change that will make the game easier to manage, altough it's too late for the games we are working on.
For the weekend I don't intend to do much, but probably I'll end up working on some small event for NBNL or some random project. Who knows? But September should be a good month for us!
