Weekly progress report

Hello guys! This week we are back to regular news, I've mostly focused on TCoR and I did some administrative stuff for Lust Survivor, so no big releases yet.

Today's spotlight didn't have images like last week but will be very important on the social part of TCoR, character's personality! And by that I mean MC's personality as you might expect you'll have dialogue choices during the game and that won't necesarily impact the relationship but it can impact MC's personality if you pick certain kind of response often. The game has 10 personality traits : Brave, Empathic, Cynical, Diplomatic, Agresive, Smart, Manipulating, Charming, Curious and Prudent. Don't worry you won't have 10 choices each time but as of right now when you pick a dialogue option you get 1 or 2 different stat points depending on your choice. As an example, in this scene some pararnomal event just started happening and you'll see 3 choices on how to MC will react to it: "Try to find out" more will show MC's smarter and curious side, "Joke about it" will end up with a more cynical answer that will annoy Sofia and "Reasure Sofia" will make MC act braver and a bit charming. The relationship side of things is still on the works, but I think I'll be using a similar sistem to NBNL, having points (or exp) and relationship level as two separated things, so if you have enough points but you haven't seen the level up event the game doesn't break and that would make me control the pasing better.

By the way, the name says Sofia and when she is ready she should look like Sophie from Lust Colony, the model I'm using right now it a Proto-Kate, in fact aside from Nicole in the current version I'm using 3 different Proto- Kates The Erica that's in game is also a proto Kate because I haven't imported her actual model.

Let's start with the main game, for this week in TCoR I've been working on day 3 (out of 3) of the game, altough this week's part was short is was packed with complex events where I was able to polish a lot of details on how to make scenes I originallly intended to show the main scenes but even tough they work as intended they are rough! The game does have a bit of music but that particular pair of scenes didn't have so parts of it feel boring without it and the camera work is still rough, seems like I'll be using rough a lot in the new reports. The screenshot from the spotlight section was from the haunting scene I was mentioning, the thing is that looking the screenshot it looks weird that's because I made the maps that are indoor with 2 walls to avoid camera issues, maybe I'll rethink them a bit. On the other side we are still some time off to get the dialogue sprites, so probably I'll have a really rough version of the game ready when I start adding sprites, proably that rough version will be ready in 2 weeks considering I've been getting better at working with Bakin the last 2 weeks.

Finally, for Lust Survivor. This week I spend like a whole morning making a pack for the 3 games with a small discout in steam but the main thing that I should be doing is v1.1 which shouldn't take that long because it's 2 bad endings but I wasn't feeling in a writing mood, I swear next week I'll have v1.1 posted here!
