Weekly progress report

Helo guys! On TCoR's side this has been a slower week due to outside factors so I ended up working on some NBNL's scenes. As an extre, these days I've been thinking on recreating imeges like that one and adding them to TCoR as collectables and so you have something to see in the meantime, I'll probably do it but I'd have to look for another artist.

Let's start with TCoR's 2D side, finally we got a design for MC and we got him in production in this game for every important character their 2D sprite 5 regular expresions that everyone has (Normal, Happy, Annoyed, Angry and Blushing) plus two "unique" expresions, like in Sofia's case are a secondary happy face and a joking face or in Erica's is a amazed and surpirsed face. MC will have his 7 faces and will be able to to be with or without jacket and right now I'll show you his 3D model version which in the end has nothing to do with the one that I comisioned a couple of months back, at least everyone told me that version 1 MC was to bland so I give him a red jacket. For more progress I've been pollishing what my friend told me about last week, stuff like marking the important details of the game and re iterating them, showing them with the camera to avoid people being lost and I been replaying and polishing day one and that mostly because... Technicall issues! The game's engine got it's version 1.0 and about 2 times a day I got a new mini update on steam so the things that I intended to do this week but couldn't do to those issues are: 1- Adding animations 2- Making custom 2d assets for the terrain. The lack of custom animations is self explanatory but the 2d for terrain got me blocked for the final areas, since the "dungeon" is a copy of an already visited area that needs a lot of detail, so I need to copy that map and then edit it as a "dungeon".

For NBNL, last week I told you I was playing with a new model for Jenna so as technical details in NBNL a new model doesn't mean remaking stuff is more like she has a new haircut and makeup so for example Nicole has about 10 models of her in the game, we are lucky that clothing sets doesn't need a new model so it would be confusing to work with about 200 Nicole combinations and that doesn't even starts with other characters. So, the scenes, since I had that model for Jenna I got her a new scene and I got more content for the "classmates" line of events too .

Next week I'm sure I won't be doing to much since it's our independence day celebration and let's say that means 5 days of party either family celebrations or real parties so between the 17th to the 21th I'll work at a snail's pase. Hopefully the technicall isues will be solved so we can have characters moving!
