Weekly progress report

Hello guys! This week we had a lot of progress in TCoR! and we are finally getting more 2D stuff and the game is way more of a game than last report.

Let's start as always with TCoR, since the game is set in modern times we need someone in the news to interact with MC and you get to pick who is going to be (here) among the characters from previous games, of course characters like Lucila will be the human version., the other thing I tought after I posted is that it should be more of a reporter than the newscaster so that characters gets to interact with MC. Now to the actual progress! I'll go in cronological order of what improvements we got for the game and honestly I got lazy with blender so I started working on other pending stuff. Now, the game has custom fonts for dialogue, systems and character names I think 3 fonts is enough but maybe I should add one that's just censored, but that one would be contextual rather than something to be used everywhere. Combat events now work properly, by that I mean stuff like characters talking mid battle and having some extra flavour for stronger attacks. I started adding NPCs to the game and time, since the first version is 3 days long, the people in town will be moving as the day pass and will change dialogue but they are still in the same pose so that will force me to go back to blender. Finally I got to work on the final areas for the game, excluding the "free time" for MC, the begining sections of the game are kind of linear so on the final area I got a bit of options to the player that will let you pick your aproach to the situation and some light puzles, at least my plan is to make the mandatory ones braindead easy and the optional ones easy. I had planed to post a before and after, but I need to get some assets to finish the final area otherwise its really lacking in details. And we are getting Selene's bonus probably tomorrow, the artist sent me the progress and is more or less ready, he just needs to blur the background and that's it!

I feel like this time the report looks odd, there is going to be two mini parargraph a super paragraph and that's it. But I hope you have a nice day! And I really hope to get news from the girl's sprites
