It's time to get hoppin' on down to Texas!!!
Added 2019-08-25 01:02:53 +0000 UTCAll packed up for my trip to Boca Chica, TX where SpaceX is ready to fly the Starship Hopper to new heights! (Sounds like 200 meters this time, it was 20 meters for the first flight) Per a tweet from Elon, it sounds like FAA approval has been received and everything is set.
It is currently NET (no earlier than) Monday, August 26th and thanks to each of you, I'll be there bringing you all the action from just about 1.5 miles away.
Be sure to check out ArsTechnica.com tomorrow morning too, I have a feature story (my 2nd ever) being published at 8:30am central time! :-)
