I really hope y'all stick with Blue Prince. I had the exact same friction at the exact same point in the game especially regarding the RNG stuff. But eventually you hit a point where building a full 46 room house with the rooms you want is just a given and you're onto bigger fish to fry. The credits really are more of a late title card than any kind of conclusion. I still can't decide if it was smart design or not, but the RNG elements in that game are like what if in Outer Wilds they made it so you couldn't just keep going back to the same planet each cycle; it's forcing you to explore different threads whether you want to or not which can definitely be frustrating early on (when you do actually know what you want to do, but RNG won't let you try), but pays off later as those threads come together.

2025-04-25 12:49:40 +0000 UTCI dont say this as a thing to "hold over someone's head", but I might legitimately have to unsubscribe to the Patreon. I understand the spirit in the Microsoft boycott, but to just outright decide to not cover Xbox related stuff is actually a disservice to the game industry. One of, if not the most pro consumer, and indie supporting out of the big publishers. I've witnessed for over a decade Xbox getting ignored by media, dismissed, called dead ever since the OG Xbox, and especially since the Xbox One. This is probably literally, the single, one thing Nextlander could havs decided on that would legitimately cause me to stop showing and giving my support to you three. I've been a listener and supporter not of the content nearly since you gus formed Nextlander, and followers of all three of you since the Giant Bomb days. I'm not here to try to tell anyone what to support or not support, but this is incredibly sad to see/hear. And I didn't even see any messege on Patreon on anything about it.
