VR Bandwagon
Added 2021-01-27 04:28:35 +0000 UTCRecently, as a treat to myself, I bought a VR headset and have been spending a few too many hours distracted by the fun. I didn't do it just for the games, however. I had the thought that I might also be able to create renders that could be viewed in 3D. I know it's still kind of niche tech, but was curious how many folks out there viewing my art might even have a headset to make the effort of rendering stereoscopic images worth it.
(I've attatched the file I used as proof of concept to see if I could make it work. It's flawed, but functional. I viewed it using sView)

Definitely not something everyone can enjoy, sadly, but the results so far are pretty cool. The graphical horsepower to render a full scene at reasonable quality, however is a bit steep
